PRAIRIES NA8 TEAM SEEKS HEAD COACH
In 2009, the North America Men’s competition will expand from four teams to eight. In Canada, a team will be situated in the following four provinces/regions: British Columbia, Prairies, Ontario and Atlantic. Calgary will be the centre for the Prairies team. The 2009 season will be played in September and October.
The Calgary High Performance Rugby Association is responsible for the organization and management of the Prairies Team. The CHPRA is recruiting to the position of Head Coach for the Prairies NA8 Team. This individual will be an accomplished coach with a track record of working successfully with players and coaching/support staff. Working closely with prairie province high performance staff and coaches, this individual will play an important role in maximizing the linkage between high performance development programs and the Rugby Canada National Senior Men’s Team. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and will work closely with the Rugby Canada High Performance Director and National Senior Men’s Team coach.
