LEARNING FACILITATOR PATHWAY
Becoming a Rugby Canada Learning Facilitator
Rugby Canada is responsible for providing educational opportunities to coaches under the auspices of the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). These educational opportunities are only made possible through qualified Learning Facilitators. These Learning Facilitators are responsible for the development of skilled, knowledgable coaches, and through those coaches, athletes/participants are safer, happier, and more successful.
What is a Learning Facilitator?
A Learning Facilitator acts as a guide to the learning process (not a lecturer).
Although a degree in Physical Education/Kinesiology/Sport Science or Coaching would be very desireable, a potential LF candidate should be judged on a broader set of competencies.
