Wage Range: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per annum (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
Hours of work: 40 hrs/week; may be required to travel and work extended hours including weekends and evenings

Rugby Canada (RC) is the national sport organization committed to the domestic development and international success of Rugby Canada.
OBJECTIVE
The Assistant Coach, National Senior Men’s Sevens Team (NSM7s) Team has a primary role to support the Head Coach, National Senior Men’s 7s Team to select and coach the NSM7s squad and team to prepare for and succeed on the World Stage (World Cup, Olympics, IRB World Series, Pan Am Games, etc.). The position will have a very strong focus on talent identification and development and the Assistant Coach will be responsible for leading talent identification and development for the NSM7’s team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Coach, NSM7s Team supports the Head Coach in selecting the NSM7s Squad and playing teams, in accordance with the guidelines adopted by Rugby Canada from time to time. The appointed person will coach the team, on and off the field, to a standard of excellence, with the objectives to demonstrate a significant improvement over each annual period of centralization, and enhance the reputation of Canadian rugby and the NSM7s Team.
The position will involve a commitment to aspects of high performance player development and talent identification. This position will focus upon the progression of identified players from club, school and/or university participation into Rugby Canada’s national and international level programs.
