The Canucks Autism Network (CAN) provides year-round, innovative, high quality sports, recreational, social and employment related programs for individuals and families living with autism, while building awareness and capacity through community networks across British Columbia.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), more commonly known as Autism is generally diagnosed amongst individuals who have trouble with social interaction, communication, and behaviour.
In support of CAN, SFU Men's Hockey team will be hosting their first ever "CAN family night" on February 15th, 2014, when they take on University of Victoria for their last regular season home game. Individuals registered within the CAN program will have the opportunity to watch the game for free and get to experience hockey up close. Exclusive Canucks merchandise will available for auction and part of all the proceeds from this game night will go directly to supporting CAN.
Come out to support your SFU clan and the Canucks Autism Network. Doors open at 6:15 pm and puck drop is at 7:00 pm.
