FEATURED SFU HOCKEY ALUMNI

The SFU Hockey Featured Alumni is Manny Haider. #22 Haider was a key component of the 2010/2011 BCIHL Champion SFU blueline, playing 18 games during the regular season and 3 playoff games. Manny scored 1 goal during those playoffs in an emotional win over UVIC.

Manny spent the 2012 fall semester abroad in Buenos Aires Agentina and travelling in Chile. Surfing in northern Chile, hiking glaciers en route to Machu Picchu at 5000 metres, jungle visits, biking the Bolivian "Death Road', visiting ore mines, and catching some epic waterfalls in Agentina and Brazil are just some of the highlights from Haiders trip abroad. 

Haider will return to SFU to finish his degree during the 2013 spring semester and graduate with a Geography Major, International Studies Minor, and Spanish Language Certificate.
