The Youth Nationals 2022 will take place in Chicago June 10^th to 12^th and here is an update from the local organizers.

We are just returning from California and the Golden Gate Cup and are on a "floorball high" after the spectacular weekend of floorball and community that they hosted.

We are so pleased and honored to be able to host the 2022 US Youth Nationals in Chicago on June 10th thru 12th. While I know it is early, we want to keep you informed of the tournament and information surrounding the tournament. This will hopefully allow you to have plenty of time to prepare for making the trip to Chicago and competing in the tournament.

It is our goal to have the most fun floorball weekend possible, while also attempting to make the arrangements as easy and cost effective as possible. The tournament facility will be the Romeoville Athletic and Events Center which is about 30 minutes from both of Chicago's major airports (O'Hare and Midway). I have also attached a list of hotels that are within 5-10 minutes of the facility. We are still negotiating group rates with a couple of them, but there are several choices here to start your planning.

At this time, I am please to announce that the Chicago Blackhawks will be partnering with us on this tournament. They will be providing the following -

Sending a Blackhawks Player to the Tournament.

Sending the Team Mascot (Tommy Hawk) to the Tournament.

Offering each participating youth team a full tour of the Blackhawks locker room at the United Center.

Jointly with the Chicago Bulldogs Youth program, offering clinics for new players interested in floorball in March.

Providing social media support.

Sponsorship ads on the boards.

We are planning many exciting activities for the weekend and very much look forward to having a strong turnout of teams from around the US and Canada. We will have 2 full sized, regulations courts and we also plan on having an adult tournament run simultaneously during the weekend.
