Trent Kling MU19 assistant and goalie coach!

The United States Men’s Under 19 Team announced today that Trent Kling will be joining the coaching staff as an assistant coach to Derek Moser as well as the team’s goalie coach.

Says Kling - "I am excited to assist with the United States Men's U19 team once again, and I look forward to being able to assist Derek in any way I can. Derek and I have played with and against each other for some time, and he thinks the game at an extremely high level. To be able to coach with someone who is a great floorball mind as well as a great person is a tremendous opportunity, and I am optimistic about where the program is headed as we look to the near future."

Moser adds - “Bringing Trent onboard was an easy decision to make. Having had many floorball conversations with Trent over the years, I have gained a high level of respect for him and how he views the game. Beyond that, Trent has an innate ability to share clear and concise information, pertinent to the situation at hand, with any player.  He is thorough in his instruction and an extremely constructive addition to our team. I’m very excited to be working together with Trent.”

The US Men’s U19 Team is planning their first training camp on January 11th and 12, 2025 in Dallas, Texas.
