Sofa Kings got off to a slow start in the C Provincials losing 4-1 in game one of their round robin. I would expect our boys were just a touch rusty and will bounce back Saturday with a stronger effort.
<P>Easton Fection went in to Fridays D tournament missing lots of regular bodies and couldn't afford the numerous penalties they took in their opening game which led to a 2-0 deficipt to GTA Pickering which they could not over come and lost 3-0 due to a late emty netter. Our hopes are that this team will have more regulars in teh line up Saturday and will be able to bounce back enough to advance.
<P>London Oasis fell behind early in their opening game of the E Provincials against Durham giving up 2 goals on the first 2 shots but after trailing 2-0 and 3-2 in this one they eventually prevailed with a gritty 4-3 win.
<P>Our other E team (Renagade-Leafers) picked up their first ever provincial win with a solid 4-2 effort over Toronto to kick start them into the drivers seat.
