Nanaimo Clippers
CLIPPERS VS GRIZZLIES - DECEMBER 19 - GAME SUMMARY
The Clippers are 6-0 against Victoria after a 3-2 win at the Q Centre Saturday.
 
They also enter the Christmas break on a two game winning streak and as winners in 12 of their last 14 games.
 
Victoria actually had the lead after one on a goal by Kevin Massy, who scored on a scramble in front of Evan Johnson.
 
Nanaimo scored two straight in the second period to take the lead, first Devin Brosseau on a deflection and then Zach Court with a rebound tally.
 
Alex Peck tied the game on a wraparound to even the score after 40 minutes.
 
The only goal of the third was a beautiful deflection from Corey Renwick behind Matthew Galajda which ended up being the game winner.
 
Victoria outshot Nanaimo 30-25 and both teams were 0/2 on the power play.
 
Saturday's Three Stars were 1) Sean Buchanan 2) Mitchell Barker 3) Evan Johnson
 
Nanaimo gets a 10 day break before visiting the second place Capitals December 30th.
 
The Clippers enter the break with an eight point lead over the Capitals in the Island Division standings.
