The Ghostriders are currently on a 4 game win streak that dates back to November 23rd when they lost 4-3 in overtime to the Columbia Valley Rockies, but they still got a point.
The Riders will be going back to the scene of that crime Tuesday December 11th to play the aforementioned Rockies for just the second time this year.
The November 5th game that was scheduled for the Fernie arena was rescheduled to Tuesday January 15th. That will be a bonus to the fans who will get to see both teams with their final rosters and at their best.
The Riders, buoyed by their new forward Simon Bergsagel who gave new life to line mates Brendan Nemes and Jordan Kromm won both games last weekend and that line figured into a majority of the 11 goals the Riders scored against Spokane and Golden.
With 31 points the Ghosties are 5 points back of the Rockies and they have two games in hand.
The Rockies are no slouches, they were on a 7 game win streak but got blasted 9-2 in Nelson last Saturday so will be a handful for the Riders Tuesday.
Sports fans will be happy to know that The Game is a Drive 99.1 Local Radio Broadcast Game
