: Who We Are

Welcome to Burnaby Minor Football, the HOME OF THE LIONS.

Burnaby Minor Football is dedicated to growing football, at all levels in Burnaby.

Entering our 5th year, we will have teams at the following levels:

• Fall Flag(5, 6 and 7 year olds)
• Spring Flag(U18, U16, U14, and U 12)
• Atom(8 and 9 years born in 2002 and 2003)
• Pee Wee(10 and 11...born in 2000 and 2001)
• Junior Bantam(12 and 13...Born in 1998 and 1999)
• Bantam(14 and 15...Born in 1996 and 1997)
• Midget(born in 1993, 1994 and 1995)

As part of the registration fee wee provide all gear except for cleats. Players may also purchase their own accessories(special chinstraps or "horse Collars") provided that they comply with league rulses.

We also provide off-season strength and conditioning that the older athletes(Junior Bantam, Bamtam and Midget) may utilise.

We have working relationships with a school and will periodically host joint football camps with them. An example is the week long Grade 6 and 7 Tackle Football Jamboree that we are hosting with St. Thomas More High School. The full camp fee will be credited to the registration fee for the 2011 fall football season with the Burnaby Lions.

Parents! Football is a sport that requires your involvement. We encourage discipline, hard work and strong performance in school. We encourage fathers to get involved and we like to develop coaches by getting Dad involved at the Atom and flag levels.

We need trainers, Team Managers, Announcers(Yes we have all games announced) fundraisers, etc...you will need to step up to.
