BC MAJOR MIDGET LEAGUE ANNOUNCES ALL-STARS that include BWC Alumni
 

BC Hockey announced the players selected to the 2012-2013 Major Midget League All-Star Team.  Players were selected based on votes from BC Hockey Major Midget League coaches.  Coaches were prohibited from voting for players on their own team.  Each player will be presented with an award from BC Hockey.

Bo Didur (West Vancouver) played 26 with the Giants this past season and finished with a 22-0-3 record.

Alex Gran (Kelowna) was the top scoring defenceman during the 2012-2013 MML regular season with 40 points, nine (9) goals and 31 assists.

Ty Schultz (Vancouver) played 36 games with the Canadians during the 2012-2013 regular season and finished with three (3) goals and 23 assists for 26 points.

Matthew Barzal (Coquitlam) led the MML in points with 103 in 34 games.  He scored 29 goals and had 74 assists during the regular season and three (3) goals and three (3) assists in the playoffs.

Jarid Lukosevicius (North Vancouver) scored 31 goals and had 34 assists for 65 points during the MML regular season.  He played seven (7) post-season games where he scored an additional nine (9) goals and had two (2) assists.

Liam Blackburn (Prince George) played 40 games with the Cougars during the regular season where he scored 35 goals and had 50 assists.  In his four (4) post-season games, Blackburn scored four (4) goals and had five (5) assists.

The BC Hockey Major Midget League was established in 2004 to provide elite level 15, 16 and 17 year olds an opportunity to play within their own age group at a high level and be developed for the next level of hockey. These teams have an opportunity each year to compete for the National Midget Championship.
