Crandall Romps Cape Breton

Crandall jumped all over Cape Breton to start the day at Kiwanis Park on Day 2 of the National Championships in Moncton.  After trailing 2-1 Crandall eight runs in the bottom of the second inning and never looked back chasing Cape Breton starting pitcher Nathan Brewer from the game.  Crandall tacked on 5 runs in the fifth inning and 2 in the sixth to complete the scoring. 

Crandall starter Dan Proctor picked up the win on the mound pitching a complete game surrendering only 1 earned run and 2 hits while striking out 5 batters.  CIBA Batting Champion Adem Campbell had a perfect day at the plate going 4 for 4 scoring 2 runs adding 3 RBI's. 

Dan Lewis had Cape Breton's only two hits in the lopsided contest.
