Durham Storms Back to Steal Win Over Concordia

Trailing 5-2 in seventh inning Durham rallied with three runs to tie the game and then scored a walk-off run in the bottom of the eighth inning to take away a win from Concordia played at Harold Page Field in a morning affair on Day 2 of the National Championships. 

Durham reliever Jake Olynyk pitched a scorless eighth inning and was awarded the victory who came on in relief of starter Julian Daligadu who gave up 4 earned runs over seven innings.  Tyler Mitchell was 2 for 4 with a pair of RBI's including the game winner for the Lords who improved their standing to 1-1 in Pool A. Day Alayon had 3 hits and an RBI also for Durham while Wayne Feltham and James Wakutz each had two hits.  

CIBA Pitcher of the Year Alex Kechayan pitched 6 strong innings but gave way in the seventh when Durham evened the score.  Jamal Gittens and Andre Lagarde each had two hits for Concordia in the loss.
