MSBL AWARD WINNERS
The Manitoba Senior Baseball League recently announced its award winners for the 2010 regular season.

The batting champ was Mitch Olson of Reston, who hit .412.  He was 28-for-68 overall and led the league in runs batted in with 25.

The top pitcher was Kyle Nixon of the Brandon Cloverleafs.  Nixon was 5-and-1 with a 2.53-ERA.  He struck out 31 in 46.1 innings.

The Rockets ran away with some of the other individual honors.

Chris Young and Tony Isbell tied for the league lead in homers with 3.

Isbell was also named MSBL Most Valuable Player.  He hit .405 and drove in 18 runs. 

Ross Tycoles was the Manager of the Year and Richard Lochhead was named the Ab Richardson Volunteer of the Year.
