Raptors 6 Mustangs 1 Needing a win to keep tight with current playoff-bound teams, the Raptors came up big against a Mustangs squad subbing their first round pick, netminder Marc Bertrand, for Bears defenceman Dave Campbell. Still without defenceman Tommy Sullivan, the Raptors played desperate, efficient hockey, and received big efforts from centres Alex Whalen and Eric Chang, and a solid game from netminder Thomas Schnitzer.
Wolves 8 Rhinos 4 The last-place Rhinos were equally in need of a win on Saturday, but fell to the streaking Wolves. Despite mounting several comebacks, four consecutive goals by Ryan Lang stymied the Rhinos' attack.

Tigers 6 Raptors 5 The Tigers moved into first place with a hardfought victory over the 7th place Raptors, who mounted a tremendous comeback in the final frame. Both teams were moving the puck well, but the Tigers controlled the majority of the play and created abundant scoring chances in prime positions, while the Raptors were especially hesitant to fire at substitute goalie Stewart Glen.
Mustangs 8 Lions 7 In one of the most exciting games of the season, the Mustangs split their weekend games with a shootout victory over the Lions. The single point kept the Lions within striking distance of the Tigers, who moved into first with their win over the Raptors earlier in the night.
