New Season, Fresh Energy – Let’s Go, EK Avs!

The 2025–2026 EK Avalanche season is officially underway, and we couldn’t be more excited! With returning talent, new faces behind the bench, and a community that never stops cheering, this season is shaping up to be one for the books.

We’re thrilled to welcome back Tom McLean as head coach of our U15 team! Tom’s passion for developing young talent makes him an invaluable part of the EK family—excited for another great season ahead!

Joining us as the new U18 head coach is Carson Loftsgard! With years of experience as an assistant coach with the Kimberley Dynamiters, along with a strong background in minor hockey and certification as a Hockey Canada Skills Coach, Carson brings incredible knowledge and leadership to the bench.
