First Round took place on the 23rd of March in a single game elimination round that saw the merged 4 & 6 22 team get a pass, and the MAIS, FMR and CGG move on to the semi finals.

La première ronde à pris place le 23 Mars sous forme d'un seul match éliminatoire qui à vue l'équipe jumelé des 22 passer automatiquement à la demi finale en plus des équipes du MAIS, FMR et CGG gagner leur place.

BW vs MAIS

Second seed vs Last; Both teams came out flying, and while the MAIS got the early goal, the BW had quite a few chances in the first 5-10 minutes of the game to tie it up. From there, both a few more goals from the MAIS and exhaustion caught up to the BW and saw the game become entirely one-sided. Thompson saved the BW's honor late in the game with the lone goal for his team.

34RGC vs FMR

Having split both games played between them this year, both teams showed up with every intention of winning. The 34RGC fielded and impressive lineup of old and new players, while the FMR had to make do without their two best scorers. The engineers took the lead early on and managed to hold on to it until the very last period. A late arrival near the end of the second period bolstered the FMR's lineup to 8 players and ultimately shifted the momentum of the game in their favor.

RMR vs CGG

An old rival awaited the RMR at the CGG, where Santos, making an unexpected return, would make it very hard for one of the best scoring duos of the league in Parnell and Talarico, to get anything going. The upset led to a clear victory by the CGG.
