CSSHL alum MacDonald commits to Dartmouth

Canadian Sport School Hockey League alum Cameron MacDonald has committed to attend and play NCAA hockey at Dartmouth College.

MacDonald, 18, attended the Yale Hockey Academy during the 2016-17 season and 2018-19 season.

In 32 games with Yale’s U18 Prep team during the 2018-19 season, the Surrey, B.C. product registered 60 points (35-25-60), while also adding 10 points in four games at the 2019 BDO CSSHL Championships.

During the 2016-17 season, the 5-foot-10 forward had 38 points (16-22-38) in 29 games with Yale’s U15 Prep team, before being selected in the fifth round, 96th overall, by the Brandon Wheat Kings at the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.

MacDonald spent this past season with the BCHL’s Vernon Vipers, where he managed 25 points (15-10-25) in 56 regular season games, prior to adding nine points (5-4-9) in just five post-season contests.
