Buckley to attend and play for UBC

Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Olivia Buckley will attend and play USports hockey with the University of British Columbia next season.

Buckley, 17, has attended the Okanagan Hockey Academy the past three seasons, most recently posting 14 points (5-9-14) in 24 games with their Female U18 Prep team during the 2019-20 season.

The Trail, B.C. product appeared in 27 games with OHA’s Female U18 Prep team during the 2018-19 season, collecting five points (3-2-5) in the process.

During the 2017-18 season, the five-foot-five forward had nine points (4-5-9) in 23 games with OHA’s Female Varsity team, along with adding one goal in four games at the 2018 BDO CSSHL Championships, where she helped her team capture the Female Varsity Division crown.
