Want to play hockey?

IHSA exists to promote ice hockey in one of the hottest states in Australia. From our junior programs all the way to our state high performance teams, there’s options available for new and past time hockey players.

Under 16

Our junior programs are for children under 16. Usually suitable for children who have basic skating ability.

The IceArena also runs programs during the school term from skating skills to hockey academy.

Women

There are a range of options for women to play ice hockey in South Australia. Our winter season is mixed for A, B & C grade.

Throughout the year there is also women’s only training sessions ran weekly and bi weekly for all levels of players

Over 16

First time playing hockey? IHSA runs a development & social league during summer which is perfect for competent skaters or maybe you’ve played before and recently moved to South Australia. Our winter league is suitable for people who are competent at skating and playing ice hockey
