: Equipment Manager

NEW JERSEY POLICY

Each coach must come to the equipment room at the designated time for jersey pickup with the cheques from each player on the team.  Each player on the team's roster must give to the coach a cheque made payable to RMMHA and posted to March 1, 2013 in the amount of $150.00.

When the equipment manager receives the entire team's cheques, and the coach signs the form stating that he is responsible for the extra jerseys in the set (if the coach does not have a child on the team, he will need to provide a cheque like the players), he will be given 2 sets of jerseys (20 red and 20 white).

With each parent giving their own deposit of $150.00 each player shall be allowed to take that jersey home with them and be responsible for the care of that jersey.  This includes: washing in cold water, hanging the jersey to dry, and if a letter is placed on the jersey it is to be sewn on and that same letter removed at the end of the season.  Do not wash jerseys in hot water or put in dryer, and do not use tape for letters or iron letters onto the jersey as this will cause damage.

At the beginning of the season the coach / manager will send the equipment manager a list of players with their jersey numbers.  If a player is moved ot a different team during balancing, it will be the coach/manager's responsibility to let the equipment manager know of the move so that the player's cheque can be placed with the new team.  The player will have to give the 2 jerseys back to the coach from his/her initial team and receive 2 new ones from their new team.  This will help to keep the set complete when the coach returns the jerseys.

At the end of the season the coach is required to return all of the jerseys issued to him at the designated time stated by the equipment manager.  A player's cheque will be cashed if the jerseys are not returned or if there is any damage (beyond normal wear expected) to the jersey.  A coach's cheque will be cashed if there are any other jerseys missing from the sets.  In the case of a cheque being cashed and returned NSF, that child's registration will then have a hold placed on it for the following season until the payment is received.  Any questions please contact equipment@ridgemeadowshockey.com
