USA Floorball Hosts Largest Combined Youth & Adult Nationals Since 2019

Georgetown, TX — July 4–6, 2025
USA Floorball, in collaboration with the Austin Floorball Club and the North Texas Floorball Association (NTFA), hosted the 2025 Youth and Adult Nationals at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, over the July 4th weekend. For the first time since 2019, both tournaments were combined into one action-packed event, making it one of the largest and most dynamic gatherings in USA Floorball history.

To make the most of the event, USA Floorball also offered a Player Development Camp and a Coaching Camp, both led by Juerg Kihm, an official with the International Floorball Federation (IFF). These sessions provided players and coaches from across the country with high-level training, technical insights, and a deeper understanding of international standards in the sport. Additionally, Thomas Andersson, one of the best referees in the world and USA Floorball’s own Director of Referee’s Vince Faso ran a Referee Clinic, helping to strengthen and grow the referee community with professional education and certification opportunities.

Between the two tournaments, over 1,315 minutes of competitive gameplay were played, showcasing the increasing level of talent and passion across all age groups. Beyond the games, the weekend featured a sense of community that continues to fuel floorball's growth in the U.S.

🏆 Youth Nationals Results

The Youth Division featured four U14 teams representing Chicago, NTFA, Utah, and Austin Floorball.

• 🥇 1st Place: Chicago Bulldogs – Four-time consecutive USA Floorball Youth National Champions

• 🥈 2nd Place: NTFA Lone Stars

• 🥉 3rd Place: Austin Youth Floorball

🏆 Adult Nationals Results

The Adult Division included nine teams: two from Austin, two from NTFA, two USA Floorball U19 squads, and teams representing Chicago, Colorado, and the USA Floorball Women’s National Team.

• 🥇 1st Place: NTFA – Fourth consecutive USA Floorball Adult National Championship

• 🥈 2nd Place: Chicago Mad Dogs

• 🥉 3rd Place: Austin Floorball Club

🌟 Individual Awards

In recognition of outstanding performances, several individual awards were presented across both divisions:

• 🏅 Youth MVP: Joceyln Parent (Team Utah) – Honored for her tireless enthusiasm and energy on the floor, Jocelyn's leadership and effort stood out throughout the tournament.

• 🧤 Best Goalie (Adult Division): Ethan VanPatten (NTFA)

• 🎯 Most Points (Adult Division): Landon VanPatten (NTFA)

• 🏆 Adult MVP: Ollie Parent (USA U-19 Boys’ Blue Squad) – Recognized for his positive impact and leadership throughout the tournament
