Former OCN Storm forward Austin Caza signed his first professional contract this summer with the Mentor Ice Breakers. The Ice Breakers are a member of the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL).
The 22-year old played the 2016-17 season with the Storm posting 73 points in 41 games.
Caza went on to play Junior A the following season signing with the Cochrane Crunch (NOJHL).
Ice Breakers Head Coach Sebastian Ragno commented on Caza saying, “Austin brings some size to the group up front and is not afraid to get to the dirty areas,” Ragno said. “I am excited to see him battle in camp.”
We've added F Austin Caza and F Robert McNamara, a Niagara University product, on PTO contracts.
