The 99 Jr. BCs had a strong showing at the Stamford Fall Classic II Tournament this past weekend!  The 99's finished as the runner up in a double over time championship game against Westchester Express.  The 99s came out strong on Friday with a 6-0 win over Stamford.  On Saturday the team went on to pull a second  victory of 3-0 against New Canaan.  Later on Saturday the 99s kept the momentum going against Westchester Express but fell short 2-3 after the game ended in a 2-2 tie and went into a shootout.  The BCs advanced to the semi-finals on Sunday and prevailed with a 7-5 win over the Colonials.  The Colonials had a nice come from behind run to challenge the BCs in the 3rd but the BCs advanced to the championship round where they met Westchester Express.  BCs controlled the game in the 1st and 2nd and headed into the 3rd with a 3-1 lead over the Express.  In the final minutes of the 3rd the Express rallied to tie the game sending it into the first OT.  The two teams battled keeping the score 3-3 sending the game into a second OT.  In the final minutes the Express managed to come out with the winning goal.  Excitement surrounded the 99 Jr. BCs during their second weekend of games!
