Wild Do League Proud!!!

The Winnipeg Wild did not quite get where they wanted to by the finish of the Western Regional AAA Midget Playoffs in Prince Albert last weekend. They finished the competition with a dominant game defeating Thunder Bay 9-1.
Although finished the round robin in 3rd position they could have easily been in the final and going on to the National Telus in Moose Jaw. They lost two close games - 4-2 to Saskatchewan Champion Notre Dame Argos and 3-2 to the eventual winners the Prince Albert Mintos.
The Wild outshot the Mintos in their round robin game and with a bounce or two would have been in the final. The Wild represented our league and province very well and and should be proud of their great season. Congratulation to the players and staff.
