The Callaway IPGA Tour held their 7th event of the 2013 season on Monday August 26th at the beautiful Nk'mip Canyon Desert Golf Course. The course was in perfect condition, the sun was out but so was the wind as the field of 18 of the top Okanagan Professionals battled for the top prize. 

Continuing a season of dominance, Greg Machtaler of Summerland Golf Club shot a great round of 4 under 68 to win the event by 4 strokes. Finishing in a tie for second were Myles Johnson of Spallumcheen and Rob Tadey of Fairview Mountain, who shot scores of even par 72. Lee Sapach of Osoyoos and Brian McDonald of Fairview Mountain rounded out the top 5 with solid scores of 2 over 74. Greg took home $450 and 40 Order of Merit points for his second victory on the IPGA Tour this season.
