The Midwest Prep league is proud to announce that 5 players were drafted in the 2007 USHL Draft.

 Heading the class was Christian Morrisette of St. Andrews. Christian was selected in the second round by Green Bay. In the 4th round Vince Mihalek (Gilmour) was selected by Cedar Rapids. Chris Ciotti (Gilmour) was taken in the 13th round by the Omaha Lancers. Brandon Blandina and Chris Paliafito rounded out the draft for the MPHL when they were taken in the 14th round by the Indiana Ice. This showing is proof that the MPHL is attracting high level student athletes and continues as a strong developer of prospective college and junior players.
