The Battle of Fleetwood

The Battle of Fleetwood 

Both the Fleetwood Fusion and the Fleetwood Reign were participants in the Richmond Girls Softball Association tournament that took place at the beginning of June. After stellar round-robin play by both teams, the finals were set. A Fleetwood matchup was underway. 

The final game occurred Sunday afternoon with the Fusion coming out strong going two back-to-back innings scoring 4 runs in each. The Reign decided that 8 runs were enough for the Fusion and after a pitching change and some motivation the Reign found their bats in the second half of the game. The Fusion fielders couldn't keep up ultimately leading to a final score of 15 - 8 for the Reign. 

A huge congratulations to both teams for coming in first and second place. Way to represent ladies!
