Cole Connor Joins Men's U19 Front Office

Cole Connor Joins Men's U19 Front Office

Brian Radichel

The Men's Under-19 National Team is proud to welcome Cole Connor to the front office staff as the Logistics Manager for the team.  In this role, Connor will report to Assistant General Manager Keene Addington and will be responsible for organizing and managing the team's travel and accommodations for all activities.

Cole first discovered floorball through his brother six years ago and has been dedicated to growing the game ever since. Beginning with experiencing the 2019 U19 WFC in Halifax as a spectator, Cole has seen the way that the development of youth floorball is the next step to evolve the sport in America. Through his experience in helping to found and operate the North American Floorball League as Director of Player Personnel, Cole was able to strengthen his background in event planning and logistics on an international scale. Cole is excited about the staff that has been assembled for the U19 program and can’t wait to help the team on their way to Switzerland. Aside from the time he spends in floorball, Cole is a 2nd-year law student at the SMU Dedman School of Law and proud Vanderbilt grad. He lives in Dallas, TX with his wife Andrea.

AGM Keene Addington said, "I am delighted that Cole Connor has joined the business staff of the US Men's Under-19 Team. Cole has a great passion for floorball and along with his father, founded the North American Floorball League. While wearing many hats, Cole has helped guide the NAFL from a start-up league to the top league in North America, now entering their 3rd season of play."

General Manager Brian Radichel offered his thoughts on the addition of Connor to the team.  "I'm very excited to see more young people come up through floorball and then give back to help bring the next generation forward.  In his role in the NAFL, Cole has dedicated himself to the growth of the sport in the United States and has extensive experience in event logistics through his previous two seasons of league experience.  I look forward to the continued growth and increased professionalism of the Men's U19 program as we work to compete at the highest level of world floorball."

The Men's Under-19 Team will compete as a development program next at the Texas Open, held annually in mid-March in Arlington, Texas.  This year a training camp will be held the day before the tournament, and the program will field two teams in the tournament with an eye both towards the World Floorball Championship Qualifier against Canada in August, as well as the future of the program through the 2027 cycle and beyond.  The team operates solely on donations, sponsorships, and player contributions.  If you are interested in supporting the Men's Under-19 club, or any other program in USA Floorball, please reach out to the GM at brian.radichel@usfba.org
