The Rise 2010: Tour Policies

  2013 Callaway IPGA Tour Policies

The mandate of the Callaway IPGA Tour is to provide a competitive outlet for golf pros from the interior region to play and work on their game, promote themselves through playability and provide an opportunity to interact with other local professionals.

Eligibility for Events -  Must be a PGA of BC member in good standing, no exceptions

Registration for Events - Please email Russ Latimer at golfshop@blackmountaingolf.ca to register for all events except the Pro Am.
DO NOT REGISTER BY PHONING THE HOSTCLUB.

Cancellations– Please give as much notice as possible when cancelling out of an event as a respect to the organizing committee and host golf club.  In past years this has been a major inconvenience to all parties involved.  There will not be a penalty fee for last minute cancellations, however if it becomes a problem the Committee will meet and decide if a cancellation fee is deemed necessary.

Draws - The draw for each event will be posted on the IPGA website by the Saturday prior to the event.  If you haven’t signed up for an event at that time, please contact the host club to inquire about any openings.

Entry Fee- The entry fee for all regular events will be $80 - $70 for purse and $10 for skins. The entry fee is due upon arrival at the host club and can be paid by either cash or a cheque made out to the IPGA Tour. Cost per Pro Am team is $800. Cost for Match Play is $115 including a lunch. Cost for Tour Championship is $100.

Order of Merit - All 9 IPGA tournaments and 6 Pro Am events listed on the 2012 schedule will determine the winner of the Order of Merit.  The top Assistant Professional as of August (not yet set out by PGAof BC) will represent the IPGA Tour at the Canadian Assistants Championship.

Tour Championship - The Tour Championship field will be comprised of the top 30 on the Order of Merit and any member who has played in at least 3 events throughout the season.

Pace of Play - This year there will be a tour marshal at all IPGA Tour events.  They will follow the pace of play standard set out by the PGAof BC and the IPGA Tour Committee.
