The Vernon Vipers are coming off a 7-4 win in Langley Saturday play back to back games starting tonight vs the league leading Penticton Vees. The Vipers are 0-3 vs Penticton this season have four games remaining before the Christmas break. These two teams met eleven days ago in Penticton, with the Vees coming away with a 3-0 victory. These two teams will meet again come January 1st and then for the final time this season on January 8th with both games played in Vernon. The Vipers have lost three of their last five games are 3-6-0-1 in their last ten. The Vipers sit 4th in the Division are two points up on Trail, eight points back of West Kelowna and twelve points back of Salmon Arm. The Vipers have lost six of their last ten home games are 1-8-0-1 in their last ten games vs. Penticton.

Colton McCarthy (15-6-21) leads the the team in goals with fifteen, while Odeen Tufto (14-22-36) leads the team lead in points with thirty six.

The defending Western Canada Cup Champion Penticton Vees make their first of three visits to Kal Tire Place are coming off a 4-3 overtime win over the visiting Salmon Arm Silverbacks Saturday. The Vees have won all three games vs the Vipers this season all on home ice, have won four straight over the Vipers going back to last year. Penticton is 7-3 in Vernon in their last ten games at Kal Tire Place. The Vees have had the Vipers number the past four year's going 22-7-0-0. After winning twenty six of their first twenty eight games the Vees have one win in their last three games. Penticton sits atop the BCHL with a 29-3-1-0 record are ranked #2 in Canada. The Vees have won three of their last five games are 7-2-1-0 in their last ten. 

Scott Conway (28-36-64) leads the Vees in goals with twenty eight and in points with sixty four.
