To all of our friends, families and supporters who purchased tickets, gave donations and came out to watch us play the Northern CT Edge in a benefit game in memory of Francie Hoyer, we thank you. Your efforts made it possible for us to honor and pay tribute to Francie, our friend and former teammate, who passed away last Fall following a year-long battle with cancer. Your generosity made it possible for us to donate over $2,100 to the American Cancer Society in her name.
A special thank you to the Northern CT Edge who were amazing in selling tickets, raising donations and helping us pull this event together. As always, they challenged us, made us skate hard and gave us a spirited and hard-fought game.
