Nancy is adding games - watch the schedule. Especially important to note is the EARLY game time on March 16th: we are playing at 7:30!! A team is coming all the way from Brattleboro, VT so our coach secured an earlier time for us. |

Another W for Angela! |

Go Angela! 9 skaters faced Greenfield today for FIFTEEN minute periods and we faced 'em down, 5-3. Lauren and Lauren centered fabulously. Sue P had one of the most interesting goals I've ever seen, assisted by Emily. Nancy scored, too while Angela just kept fighting them off with finesse. Thank you especially to our guest skaters - Erin From Enfield (who I called Kelly on occasion, sorry) and Michele. Great game all! |

Congratulations Hiedi!!!! Saints go on to win 5 -1 with goals scored by Heidi, Kirsti, and a hatrick by Lauren!!!!
Saints are moving onto play against the Bolton "C" Learn to skate program. Have fun Saints and work on things we need to work on!!!! |

A Rough Game.... |

....on Friday followed by a physical game sunday in Enfield. With minimal benches in both games, the Saints still kept their spirits up while playing against the Ice Pirates and Edge. Great performances from all players and our goalie Diana who took shots from all angles over and over again.
Special thanks to Brian Johnson for helping out with the bench Friday night against the Pirates....and special thanks to our Coach Fran for leading us through Sunday's Match.
Lets get on the ice Tonight hungry for a win Saints!!!

Crazy Sunday Accompanied with a Tie in Simsbury |
|
Anything that could possibly falter pre-game probably did Sunday at Simsbury. Fail one started with Saints wearing white and having to change to dark. Fail two, Refs not showing up, Fail three, starting late, Fail four no score keeper. But the Saints had the edge one way or another!!! Missy Bailey lended her talents to Ref our game and Brian Johnson kept score!
Thanks to a strong performance in goal from Diana and the team keeping chaos at bay and scoring 6 goals to Tie Simsbury A!!! Great Job to the Mid Conn Saints for keeping team strength during a rather imperfect game. |

Saints Vs. Lady Lightning: The 3rd Matchup!!! |

Let's go Saints!!! Tonight's matchup will split the 1-1 tie between these to rival teams. The first game at UCONN against the Lady Lightning ended in a 4-1 loss for the saints. When the Lady Lightning came to South Windsor, the match ended quite differently with the Saints domination resulting in a 3-1 victory! Come out and support the Saints tonight to see these two teams battle for the next team point! |

Lauren Scores 2 and Kirsti Scores 1 to keep the Saints Tied. With 1.7 seconds left in the game, Lauren scores off of an assist by Michelle which brings her totals to 2 assists to bring the Saints to their 4th victory in a row!!!

A HAT TRICK FOR LAUREN ! ! ! |

Yes, that is THREE GOALS for Lauren! The Saints Marched against the Edge last night at our home opener and beat them with a flair 6 -3. Lauren had the first goal then two more as she went for her first of many hat tricks for the season. Way to Go Lauren! Other goals went to Kat, Kirsti and Sue P. Diana tried to tell us she was still recovering from the Hartford Marathon but we sure couldn't tell, she was her usual amazing self in net. The Edge put up a good fight as they always do. That's the way to show 'em Saints! Monday 10/19 we travel to Norwich to battle the Warriors at 8. Let's keep the winning streak going! |

Michelle Assists! Our first game with the Lightning went quite well. We came out very strong and our new Saints fit in So Well! We held them to a one point difference until the third period. Good game all the way around Saints! Practice Tuesday then a game in Milford Sunday with a guest goaltender - Carley! |
