GAME PREVIEW - Cents looking to roast Smokies

The Merritt Centennials host the Trail Smoke Eaters tonight in the last game before the Cents holiday season. Puck Drop is at 730pm, pre game begins at 715pm.
Both teams are coming off wins last night as the Cents defeated the Vernon Vipers 3-2 and the Smokies beat the Salmon Arm Silverbacks 6-3. Trail is currently leading the Cents in the Interior Division by 10 points.
This will be the fifth meeting of the year between the Smokies and the Cents. Trail has taken all four game so far, including a come from behind overtime game at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena on October 23rd, final score 5-4.
The teams last played on November the 7th , a win by Trail in the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena 3-2.
Trail’s been enjoying a good month of December, going 6-2 through 8 games played so far. Merritt is 2-4 through 6 games in the month. 
Gavin Gould leads the Cents with 41 points. Nick Halloran is the Smokies leading scorer with 31 points.

Tonight’s Merritt Centennials game will feature one of the Early Bird Draws for the 50K Draw, the Early Bird Draw is worth $1000. There will also be a Stick Raffle available, tickets are only $2.
