Each year the Saskatchewan Female AAA Hockey League recognizes the achievements, effort and contributions of its outstanding players, coaches, officials and volunteers.
The Carol Scheibel Scholastic Player of the Year award recognizes outstanding student-athletes who excel both on the ice and in their studies. This prestigious award is bestowed upon a player who demonstrates exceptional dedication to their education while participating in high-level hockey leagues. This year’s notable award recipient is from Prince Albert, SK playing for the Mann- Northway Northern Bears.
Julia Cey’s commitment to both academics and hockey exemplifies the spirit of this accolade, and we wish all the best to her as she continues her hockey career at the University of PEI next year.
