FEBRUARY THREE STARS

FEBRUARY FIRST STAR: Haley Braun #22, Forward, Saskatoon Stars
 
Haley is a highly-skilled forward who can create offense for both herself and her teammates.  She has great vision and extremely strong puck skills, which allow her to be a great puck distributor and playmaker, but she can also finish when given the chance. Haley plays in all situations for the Stars and can be just as dangerous shorthanded as she is on the power play.
 
Haley finished February with 20 points (11 goals, 9 assists), helping the Stars to a 9-0-1 record in the month. Haley put up a point in every game in February, scoring in six of the Stars ten games, and putting up multiple points in five of those games. Her February was highlighted by back-to-back games where she put up four goals and three goals respectively.
 
FEBRUARY SECOND STAR: Julia Cey #11, Forward, Prince Albert Northern Bears
 
Julia is a 3rd year player and captain of the Prince Albert Mann Northway Bears.
Her experience and Leadership has helped the Bears Improve during the season.
Julia plays a power forward game.
 
Julia leads the team in Points and had 11 points in February.
 
FEBRUARY THIRD STAR: Avery Gottselig, #17, Defense, Regina Avana Rebels
 
Avery is strong leader both on and off the ice.   She brings solid defensive play helping keep both players and pucks out while making heads up plays offensively assisting in the Rebels scoring.  Her high level of intensity and compete contributed to the Rebels 20 game win streak and finishing regular season in 1st place overall.  
 
From the blue line, Avery posted 8 points in 5 games and secured 8th position overall this season in the scoring race.  She was also a contributor to helping the Rebels maintain the lowest goals against in the league this season at 50.
