Startling news coming out of the WSA today where 6 players got handed suspensions from last nights games. Here's what Brendan Shanahan had to say about it (Video to follow shortly):
Shanahan: " The Westmount Senior A league has issued suspensions to the following players following last nights action: Philip Nadeau has been handed a whooping 21 game suspension for scoring an unnecessary wrap around goal late in the 3rd period while goaltender Alex Armadouni had pad issues. Philip was also reprimanded on all his points thus far in the league. On the same note Alex Armadouni was handed 2 games for playing with defective goalie pads. And lastly Justin McManus, Ray & Raph Leider were all handed a 1 game suspension for a lack of productivity for the loss last night (upset of the year!)."
Hopefully these players will get their s**t together for rest of the year.......
