I'd like to give an official welcome to all participants in the 2009 Captains' League season. Despite over 20 years of existence, this year will be an inaugural year in certain respects, namely by establishing an inter-burrough league in a joint venture with the Dollard Men's Softball League. Both leagues will operate independantly with inter-league games and (hopefully) a final series at year's end (still waiting on lawyers and the Player's Association to approve the fine print...!).
