Join us for the inaugural draft at Big Shed on Oct 11

The marquee players are set in stone. Now, it's time to draft.

On Monday 11 October at 7:00PM, the Noarlunga Stars, Adelaide Xtreme and Port Adelaide Brewers will fill out their inaugural rosters at the historic NHSL Draft.

Players, fans, family and friends are invited to Big Shed Brewing on Old Port Road to see it all happen.

General Managers of each of the three teams were tasked with signing two marquee players to build their team around.

Each team went with a different strategy.

The Stars locked in forwards Jake Riley and Jan Koubek. The Xtreme went with all-arounder Joey MacDougall and goalie Jeremy Friederich. The Brewers went with a forward and defenseman - Steve Best and Zach Boyle.

Now teams need to draft 20 more players to fill out their teams.

Here are some key things to know:

- You can only be drafted if you have nominated to play. The deadline to nominate is October 1 at 5:00PM
- Just because you nominate, does not mean you will be picked
- The draft is a "snake draft". If you pick first in round 1, you pick last in round 2, etc
- Draft Order: 1. XTreme 2. Brewers 3. Stars
