Sydney, Australia - Canada's Men's Sevens Team defeated Scotland by fourteen points to twelve in their final game in Sydney to finish the tournament in 13th position.
Injuries to Matt Mullins, Mike Fuailefau, Lucas Hammond, Pat Kay & Phil Berna provided a massive challenge to head coach, Damian McGrath who could only field 8 players for the final two game.
Despite the lack of players, the team battled till the end and finished the tournament with two wins.
On a personal note, Nathan Hirayama reached the 100 try milestone in his team's 14-7 defeat to Samoa. The star player joins a select few in achieving the three figures. Huge congratulations, Nate. Full story to follow.
