CANADA 'A' DROP AMERICAS PACIFIC CHALLENGE FINALE

MONTEVIDEO, URUGUAY – Canada ‘A’ dropped their final game of the 2017 World Rugby Americas Pacific Challenge 45-26 on Sunday to USA Selects.

Canada ‘A’ had tries from Kainoa Lloyd, Ray Barkwill, Lucas Rumball & Guiseppe du Toi, while Robbie Povey added three conversions.

USA Selects #8 Henco Germishuys, who was awarded the Man of the Match, scored four tries in the victory, while Bryce Campbell, Angus MacLellan and Ruben de Haas added singles.

Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team will now recoup and prepare for their upcoming November internationals, including the highly-anticipated fixture against the New Zealand Maori All Blacks on November 3^rd at BC Place in Vancouver. Following that match Canada will depart for Europe and will face Georgia (Tbilisi), Spain (Madrid) and Fiji (France) on the 11^th, 18^th and 25^th respectively.

Newly appointed Head Coach Kingsley Jones will arrive in Canada next week to work with the domestic based players, along with coordinating availability with overseas professionals.
