CANADA 'A' SET TO CLOSE OUT AMERICAS PACIFIC CHALLENGE

MONTEVIDEO, URUGUAY – Canada ‘A’ head coach Mike Shelley has made 11 changes to his starting roster to close out the 2017 Americas Pacific Challenge on Sunday against USA Selects.

Sunday will see six changes in the forwards, with Hubert Buydens, Ray Barkwill, Cole Keith, Adrian Wadden, Lucas Rumball and Dustin Dobravsky getting the start. Captain Kyle Gilmour, who scored against Tonga ‘A’ on Wednesday, will once again lead the team from blindside flanker and Conor Keys remains in the second row.

Canada ‘A’ backline will see another five changes from the previous match: Andrew Ferguson replaces Jorden Sandover-Best, Conor Desmond moves to the wing from outside centre, Patrick Parfrey moves to inside-centre, Mike Nieuwenhuysen returns to the starting XV and Guiseppe Du Toit moves to fullback.

Canada ‘A’ is searching for its first win of the campaign, having lost 71-17 to Argentina XV & 31-15 to Tonga ‘A’, while the USA Selects are 1-1 having defeated Uruguay 49-36 and lost to Samoa ‘A’ 48-26.
