CANADA U19 SET TO OPEN TOUR AGAINST CAMPBELL COLLEGE IN BELFAST

BELFAST, IRELAND – Canada Under-19 Head Coach Dean Murten has announced his starting roster for tomorrow’s tour opener against Campbell College in Belfast, Ireland.

Thoughts from Coach Murten:

After a long day of travel, several team meetings, around building a culture, principles of attack and defence, and some unit meetings the team final got some rest before tomorrow’s game against CCB.

“CCB is one of the top rugby schools in Northern Ireland, they have produced some outstanding national age grade players, that have gone on to play for Ireland.

“We’re expecting Campbell College Belfast to play a well-structured fast-open rugby, depending on the Ulster weather.  If the weather is poor I am sure all they will have a great kicking game.  Something that our athletes don’t come across too often.

“We have some powerful ball carrying forwards that will get us over the gain line, after that we will be looking to move the ball to the speed we have out wide.“
