CANADA ADVANCE TO CAPE TOWN CUP QUARTER-FINAL

CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA - Canada's Men's Sevens Team pulled off a much-improved performance on day one of Cape Town 7s to book their spot in the top 8. 

Canada opened day one with a 19-17 loss to Samoa, but rallied to defeat favourites Fiji 22-14 and Wales 31-14 in their final two games.

Canada's quarter-final opponent will be France and kick off is 5:48am ET/2:48am PT
