September 26, 2016 2016 Winter Season
Our 2016 Winter League is just beginning! From now until the middle of
October we will be playing exhibition games. It is not too late to join. In fact,
now is the perfect time! If your team wants to give our league a try it will be
free for the duration of the exhibition games. Registered teams need to make
the first payment before their first regular season game and the second/final

April 20, 2016 Spring Season + Playoffs
Registration is now open for our Spring Season. The spring season will consist
of 10 regular season games and playoffs. Exhibtion games are now being
scheduled for teams that have paid in full. The cost is $,1000 with tax included.
Please email justin@icevictoria.ca to register your team. If you are looking for
the playoff schedule for the winter season remember to click on the "select
season" tab and click Winter 2015.
April 3, 2016 Playoff Format
This is the first week of play offs. Every team that wins will be
entered into Pool A. Every team that loses will be entered into Pool
B. Both pools will be single knock out and will have their own
winner. The Chiefs finished first place and have clinched a position
in Pool A.
Pool A will have 5 teams competing for the Div 2 A championship.
Pool b will have 4 teams competing for the Div 2 B championship.

Teams that have had 2 games in the same week will not have a game this
week.

January 17, 2016 Payments
We are excited to be starting the 2nd half of the season this week.
We have lost 1 team which means each week 1 team will be
playing 2 games. It will alternate so everyone gets an even
amount of games at the end.
Team Captains:
Please make sure every player has paid at least $150 each by the
end of this week or I can not schedule any more games.
The total cost is $1,400 per team. After everyone has paid $150
each depending on how many players are on each team there will
still be a small amount owing. We just need to get the majority
($150) of the payments in from each player in order to continue to
get scheduled to play.

November 23, 2015 No tolerance for fighting / referee
There is zero tolerance for fighting in this league. This was
designed to be a
fun, fast past pond hockey style game and as soon as it gets
too rough it is
no fun for anyone. There is also zero tolerance to verbal
abuse to the
Referee. If you have a question they are happy to have a
conversation with
you. The Referees have been intruscted to kick out any player
who is
swearing or yelling at him at any point in the game. Any
player who is
ejected from a game will now recieve an automatic 3 games
suspenion
whether its for fighting or verbal abuse of the ref or a
dangerous hit on
another player.
#4, Luke M. from the Anchormen has been suspended for 6
games for
multiple fight attemps this season.

October 19, 2015 Team Fees
All team fees must be paid in full by Thursday October 22nd.
Teams will not be scheduled games after this until fully paid.
Team
captains are responsible to get all payments in from their
players.

October 2, 2015 Regular Season
The regular season starts this coming week. We are still hoping to add 2 teams
to the league and can do so up until the end of next week. After that the
schedule for the entire season will be posted.

April 17, 2015 Zero tolerance for aggressive play / Suspension
Hello,
Just a reminder that there is zero tolerance for added aggression in
playoff games - the refs have been told to call the games very
tight and keep things safe and fun for everyone.
That being said, we had an incident in the All Blacks vs Chiefs
game on Tuesday April 14th that resulted in a suspension to Kalib
from the Allbacks for a dangerous check from behind.
kalib will be suspended until April 29th.
Lets do our best to keep things safe and fun

the 5 winning teams from this week will compete against each
other in hopes to win division 2A.
The 5 teams that lost this week will now compete against each
other to compete in hopes to win division 2B.
There is no cross over between 2A and 2B - each will have a
playoff champion.

our most popular season and we will be taking 24 teams

April 10, 2015 PLAYOFF FORMAT
The playoffs will be starting on Tuesday.
Out of the 10 teams playing this week we will end up with 5
winners and 5 losers - they will be split into Bracket A and Bracket
B. Both brackets will be the same format and will have a final
winner. (YOU WILL NOT PLAY ANY TEAM OUTSIDE OF YOUR
BRACKET AFTER THEY ARE SET)
Once the brackets are set - the 4th ranked team and 5th ranked
team in each bracket will have a 1 game playoff to see who moves
on.
After that both brackets will have 4 remaining teams, and if you
win you move on, if you lose you are out.
This will take us to the finals for Bracket A and Bracket B where
each bracket will have a champion.
Every team is guaranteed 2 playoff games.
