Season Kicks off April 23rd

The 20th season of Barrie Masters Lacrosse will kick off on Wednesday April 23rd at 7:30. The Orange Machine will take on GREEN. While the Blue Balls will take on Grey Pride at 8:30. Full schedule and rosters will be uploaded in the next few days. Keep your eyes on your junk mail and the Facebook Page.

B.M.L. is entering its 20th Season!

Planning is underway for the 20th season of Barrie Masters and we need your support to make it the greatest yet. With the growth to possibly expand to 6 teams we need our members to continue recruiting to see the growth we all want. With that growth means that the B.M.L. is seeking sponsors for this upcoming season. email barriemasterslacrosse@hotmail.com for information on how you can become a Team sponsor.

Plans are underway for the Season ending awards Banquet. Venue is TBD. Date is expected to be Wednesday September 25th.

Make up Dates

June 26th at 9:30 will see the remainder of the Blue Angels vs the Red Rockets. The game will pick up in the early second period where play was halted due to poor floor conditions. Red Rockets were holding on to a 2-1 lead.

July 10th will see the Greyhounds vs Black that will also begin at 9:30. All games will be played at the Thornton Arena. Game times could be moved up a half hour. Any time changes will be posted, so please ensure you confirm times with your captain.

2024 Draft is in the Books

The 2024 Draft is in the books with the Blue Angels earning the top pick, followed by the Greyhounds at number 2. The Red Rockets would take the third spot and Black rounding out the last pick of the first round. Stay tuned for roster postings as there are a few potential trades in the works. The Trade deadline is set for Thursday @ 2:00pm. After that the trade freeze will take place. Keep an eye on your email or junk mail from your Captain and or the Commish.

Opening night of the 2024 season will be April 24th at 7:30, Thornton Arena. Limited space is available. If you haven't registered and wish to play sign up today.

Register now for your opportunity to play in the 2024 BMLL season. The season includes to 20 regular season and playoff games beginning in late April and wrapping up just after Labor Day. Game days will be Wednesday nights at 7:30 and 8:30 out of The Thornton Arena.

Team Black is Crowned League Champions

Team Black has won the 2023 BMLL Championship. After sitting on top of the league for the majority of the season, it took overtime in game #2 to secure the Title over the Blue La'Goons in what was one of the most exciting league finals in recent years. Captain Paul Hesch provided the heroics for the Black team and was elated to be part of such a strong team to hoist the Cup. Congratulation to the Blue La'Goons who put up a valiant effort in the Championship Series.

In the Led Pipe match up for Third place, Grey Goose LC edged out the Gym Class Heroes. This series could have went either way. With the pink squad taking game 1. Unfortunately for the Heroes they had to forfeit game 2 unable to field a full squad. This brought on game 3, a full 10-minute overtime period. The Goose would end up taking this period 4-1 and taking the Led Pipe Award for 2023.

The Final Series have been set with The Blu'Goons taking on Black for The Champions Cup. While The Gym Class Heroes will battle it out with Grey Goose LC for the Lead Pipe.
Come to Thornton down to Thornton to see who prevails in the race to four points. Two wins gets your team the Glory. Who will be taking home the cup this year?
