2009-2010

SEASON BEGINS

The start of the season is finally upon us, as soon as you check the standings you will see that the league has had some changes. We're only 8 teams this year and we are all bunched in the same divisionl. Meaning, everyone is going to make the playoffs, and everyone will get to play each other at least twice. Captains will vote on whether to add more games at the all-star break. Right now we're slated to play 14 games.

MMHL STATE OF THE UNION

It's been 2 months since the last game in the MMHL has been played and already players are talking about next season.  Some of the players I`ve bumped into talk about feeling the itch to play at a competitive level with every conversation. With just under 2 months left before Exhibition games begin what will the 2010 MMHL season look like?

FMR WINS MMHL TITLE

Do or die. Game 3 of a best-of-3 series where two prominent MMHL teams collide for the much coveted MMHL Cup. Winner takes all.

FIRST BLOOD

East meets West in a Best of 3 Championship series showdown between the league leading FUSILLIERS MONT-ROYAL and the 2-time MMHL Champions THE ROYAL MONTREAL REGIMENT for what was sure to be a grueling match.

In front of a rowdy and hostile home crowd the RMR took to the ice short their leading D-man and  MMHL Best Defenseman nominee, Noe Chartier, to face off against an always physical and intense FMR team lead by Jean-Francois Hebert and Rookie of the Year, Alex Tardif.
