Upcoming Fall Season
Captains

There will be a Captains meeting Tuesday, September 6th @ 7pm. Cost is $2750 per team if paid in full by game 1 or $2900 if payments are made. Season begins September 11th. Players must register with USA Hockey for the 2011-12 season and email them to mrowell@carolinaicepalace.com no later than September 6th so he can register them in the league. When you come to the meeting please bring your rosters. I would appreciate it if your roster would include your players 2011-12 USA Hockey number also. Some teams have done that in the past and it makes things a lot easier. Note: if a player on your roster is not registered he or she will not be allowed to play…period…Forfeits and suspensions will be handed out to any player who tries to play and we do not have his 2011-12 USA Hockey number. Please check the notice board on this website for players looking for a team…
Please let me know if your team is NOT coming back or your team name has changed. I want to try and put a schedule together. If I do not hear from anyone I will keep the teams in the same divisions for the Fall season.

Thanks, Matt

C and D League
After Sunday night the rosters are a mess. There are people that scored, got assists and penalties and the numbers on the rosters do not reflect the numbers on the scoresheet. Captains, please email me your roster with player's Jersey numbers so I can get this straightened out for next week.

C League Scrimmage
C Captains:

I have scheduled the C Scrimmage and captains meeting for Wednesday, January 5, starting at 7:30 . The scrimmage will run to 8:30 and we will follow with the evaluation meeting. See below for additional details.

Remember that your roster has to be presented at that time. Please let me know as soon as possible if you will be sending any players to the scrimmage. If you cannot personally attend the meeting, please be sure to send a representative who can speak--and vote--for you.

All best wishes,
Kyle

There will be a pre-season scrimmage for all people interested in playing in the C league on Wednesday, January 5. The scrimmage will run from 7:30 to 8:30 PM with a cost of $15 per person. Players must be dressed and ready to go NLT 7:15 in order to facilitate payment of money and assignment of jerseys. Payment will be in exact cash only and given to Kyle S. Sinisi (not the Carolina Ice Palace ).

All people who have not played in this C league MUST attend the scrimmage in order to be evaluated and made eligible to play in the league. The only people exempt from this rule are those coming from the CIP’s “Learn to Play” program. Any player who has already been evaluated or does not intend to play in the C is not eligible to play in the scrimmage. Participation in the scrimmage does not guarantee a spot on a C team. Placement on a roster will depend upon the availability of positions on existing teams.

If you plan on attending the scrimmage, you must let Kyle S. Sinisi (sinisik@citadel.edu) know NLT than Tuesday, January 4.

C-2 Standings and Team
Because of the switch of Steves Loggers and the Renegades, Steves Loggers per Matt Mons are to have a 1-1-1 record prior to the game on 10/2/10. In order to preserve everything and keep everyone elses records correct, we had to create a "Scrub" Team. You will see this team in the standings, but it means nothing, so just ignore it.

Rosters
The following teams in the C league have not emailed in their rosters as of 12pm Friday. No rosters means no stats for your team, get them in asap to hockeyruss@att.net.

Message from Referee Association
The referees will strictly enforce the equipment standards this yr. Specifically helmets.

Chin straps need to be chin straps (not tape or laces). Shields need to be installed on the helmet properly.

Proper equipment or off the ice. The pro shop can fix any of the issues easily and inexpensively in most cases.

Thanks
Mark Wright – President of Referees Association
