Teams from around the Globe head to Boston for the 10th annual Irish American Ice Hockey Classic: Boston. (2) IRISH HOCKEY TEAMS LOOKING FOR ADDITIONAL PLAYERS TO FILL OUT THIER ROSTERS; if you'd like to skate in this years Irish Ice Hockey Classic but don't have a full team; please to be put on one of the teams looking to fill out their rosters!

After having received $5 Million + dollars in renovations over the past 12 months, including 8 new locker rooms all with showers, a new lobby, new pro shop, new viewing stand area, a new snack shop and completely new team benches, the Murphy Rink in South Boston will re-open its doors for the Irish Games on St. Patrick's Day itself.

After a week of hosting youth hockey players from Ireland; Irish Hockey Players from around the Globe are set to descend on Boston over Saint Patrick's Day week-end for 3 days of Irish Music, Irish Pub Festivities, Irish Hockey and most of all, to enjoy the sights and sounds of all Boston has to offer during the most sacred of Irish Holidays: St. Paddy's Day!

The Irish American Hockey Association is honored to host the Celtic Clovers from Dublin, Ireland as well as the Edmonton Police Hockey team and the Jolly Rogers from New Brunswick, Canada in addition to many local and other teams throughout the United States.

Join over 300+ players from around the Globe for three days of Great Irish Hockey and all that it brings, Irish Music, Blarney, "Irish Craic" and all that Boston has to offer over the Saint Patrick's Holiday week-end.

This years Irish Hockey Classic will begin with the Massachusetts State Police Color Guard and MSP singing Trooper Kathy Downey singing the National Anthem's and officially kicking off the Fesitivities.

The IAIHA is even more proud to play host to a group of U10 and U12 Youth Hockey Players the week leading up to the Irish American Ice Hockey Classic.

Mr Aaron Guli, President of Irish Ice Hockey in Ireland, will be traveling with the youth hockey players from Ireland to Boston March 9th - March 13th for 5 days of on ice instruction, skill sessions and scrimages of local teams throughout the Boston area courtsey of the Irish American Ice Hockey Association.

Former Boston College and NHL great Bob Sweeney, one of the founding members of the IAIHA, is arranging a full week of skating for the kids from Ireland  as well as tours and skates on many college campuses throughout the city of Boston.

This years Irish Hockey Classic has a few team spots remaining as well as roster spots for individual registration for hockey players without a team who would like to skate and participate in all of the Irish Hockey Festivities.
